What to Expect
Against The Current Training Center's swiftwater rescue courses are very hands on. Our scenario based training teaches students a variety techniques they can employ to safely execute swiftwater rescues. Students should expect to be in the water or on the riverbank during most of the class. This type of training allows students to develop their river reading skills, and gain experience by formulating their own response strategies, while at the same time practicing swiftwater rescue techniques.
